JEFFERSON CITY, TN 37760 PHONE 865-475-3892 FAX 865-475-9916 OBITUARY: TRESSIE MAE DAVIS STALSWORTH, age 80, of Blaine, TN (Indian Ridge Community) passed away at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2007 at St. Mary?s Medical Center in Knoxville following an extended illness. She was born August 29, 1927 in Grainger County, TN and was a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Jake Stalsworth and infant daughter, Martha Anne Stalsworth; parents, Berlin A. and Bertha M. (Yates) Davis. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Patsy (Pat) and David Branch of Knoxville, daughter, Teresa Whaley of Mascot, TN; son, Danny Stalsworth of Blaine, TN; grandchildren, Tony Whaley, Tonya Overholt, Timmy Whaley, Teena Chamberlain, Jamie Owens, David Branch and Justin Stalsworth; great grandchildren, Courtney Overholt, Amber Overholt, Clayton Chamberlain, Jessica Clay, Taylor Whaley, Jakeb Chamberlain and Breeanna Clay; brother, Parke (Eleanor) Davis of Blaine, TN; sister, Anna Morgan of Rutledge, TN; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Martha Smith and Sylva Stalsworth, both of Blaine. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at Indian Ridge Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Lee and Reverend Dean Braden officiating. Interment to follow in Indian Ridge Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, December 27, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
