Tommie Jean Brooks

TOMMIE JEAN BROOKS, age 75, of Jefferson City, Tennessee passed away at 11:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2003 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. She is survived by her husband, Jack Brooks of Jefferson City; sons, Chip Brooks of Bradeaton, Florida and Steve Brooks of Jefferson City; daughters, Gayle Mermilliod of Jonesboro, Tennessee, and Rhonda Hawkins of Powell, Tennessee; sister, America McIntyre of Morristown, Tennessee; brothers, Perry Cornette of Berea Kentucky, Harry Cornette of Orange Lake, Florida and Jack Cornette of Ocala, Florida; twelve grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside interment services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2003 at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Reverend Harold Roberts officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Media Fund of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City.
