Tom Moore

TOM MOORE, JR., age 87, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and World War II, and was retired from General Motors of Ypsilanti, MI after 30 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Dode Moore, Sr.; brothers, Sam, Gary and Clifford Moore; sisters, Mildred Harrelson and Edith Ball. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rachel Etherton Moore; daughters, Brenda Moore and Debra Younk; grandchildren, Sean (Tracy) Teall, Kim (Matthew) Carmichael, Steve (Kristi) Wyscaver, Shannon (Billy) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rebekah and Noah Carmichael, Trevor and Travis Taylor, Isaac and Caleb Wyscaver; brothers, James Earl and Ben Moore; special friends, Tommy Short, Clark Patterson, Terry Stevens and Kris Creech and the late Dean Ball. Funeral services, Saturday, December 21, 2013 7:30pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry DeVault and Bro. Murrell Jarnigan officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00pm Sunday at Mullins Chapel Cemetery for the interment graveside service. Family will receive friends Saturday evening, 5:30 to 7:30pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE.
