Timothy Allen Walker

TIMOTHY ALLEN (TIM) WALKER, age 50, of Bean Station, TN went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 26, 2023. He was a devoted and loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Along with pastoring First Baptist Church Bean Station, TN and New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church of Rutledge, TN he leaves a legacy of many years of preaching the gospel and leading souls to Christ. Tim also worked as a trade embalmer for many local funeral homes and was proud of the ability to serve others in this way. Tim always thought of the body as only a vessel that held the soul which was already gone to be with God.  He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Sue Ellen Walker. Tim is survived by his children, Gerad Walker and Sara Walker; father, Grover Walker; sister, Christina (Jeffrey) Atkins; nieces, Jessica (Chad) Barnard, Julia (Cade) Gibson; great niece, Harper Barnard; and many other beloved family members and dear friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Southerland and Rev. Derek Drummonds officiating. Graveside interment service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Walker Family Cemetery in Bean Station, TN.
