Timothy "Tim" Joel West

Timothy “Tim” Joel West, age 66 of Rutledge, TN passed away at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center on Thursday, April 14, 2022 after a lengthy illness followed by a recent stroke.  Tim retired from Lear in Morristown and was a member of Tampico Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Minnie Ruth West and brother, David West.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pam, and son Chad.  He will be greatly missed by special cousin Damon Farrow and wife, Annette, of Rutledge, extended close family Chuck and Paula Cobb of Morristown, Tim and Kelly Thomas of Rutledge, nieces and nephews Laura (Daniel) Singleton of Bean Station, Ashley (Robert) Hair of Maryville, Anna Marie (Bryant) Ledford of Morristown, Preston (Katie) Cobb of Gray and Emily Thomas of Rutledge.  The family would like to express thanks and gratitude to the entire staff of Duck Family Medicine and Covenant Hospice nurse, Cristal.  The body will Lie in State on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Myers and Rev. Dr. Sam Dzobo.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Children’s Hospital.  In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending the services, Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of face masks.
