Timothy Glen Asbury

TIMOTHY GLEN ASBURY, age 43, of Newport, TN, who grew up in the Karns community of Knoxville, TN has passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2012 at about 12:10 p.m. from a blood clot to the lung. He was born in Chicago, Illinois in Arlington Heights. He is survived by his wife of nearly 10 years, Vickie Self Asbury; sister, Tammi Likens and mother, Judy Asbury, both from the middle Tennessee area; also three nieces and one nephew. He also had a large extended family that loved him dearly, who are missing him at KT?s in the Tanger Outlet Mall in Sevierville, as well as other close friends. Family will receive friends at The Pentecostals of Jefferson City, 160 E. Old Andrew Johnson Highway in Jefferson City on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will follow with Brother Dan Bradley officiating. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations in his memory to the church, attention: Brother Trint Callison. This is where Tim asked Jesus to be his Savior and was baptized on March 9, 2011.
