"WINCHESTER" WOOD, age 57, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Plainwell, MI, passed away Saturday evening, April 5, 2008. He was a member of SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) and enjoyed western era shooting competition. Employee of Alghoma Hardwood of Jefferson City. He is survived by his wife, Patty Wood of Dandridge, TN; sons, Russ Wood of Norfolk, VA and Andy Wood of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Roxanna Wood and Emma Wood; mother, Clarabelle Stratton Wood of Coloma, MI; brother, Richard (Ginger) Wood; sister, Janie (Dave) Helms of Coloma, MI; nephews, Joey and Dan Helms; step-children, Rick (Betty) Gann and Tammy (Dave) Hayes; step-grandchildren, Lacey and Dennis Johnson, Nikki and Mike Revord, Casey Ledford; step-great-grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson and Beau Revord; sister-in-law, Judy (Lynn) Blackburn. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, April 8, 2008 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Randy Haun officiating.
