Thomas Allen "Tommy" "Lightning" Hixon

Thomas Allen ?Tommy? ?Lightning? Hixon, age 69, of Talbott, TN went to be with the Lord Thursday on February 03, 2011 at his home. Preceded in death by parents, Johnny and Christine Hixon of Rutledge, member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, a Vietnam veteran and an employee of Magnavox for 43 years. Survived by wife of 45 years, Patsy Hixon; children, Kim Woods, Kevin (Lynna) Hixon, Kelly (Chris) Fox and Keith (Amy) Hixon; grandchildren, Whitney Woods, Kailee and Tucker Hixon, Dylan Fox and Keely Hixon all of Talbott; sister, Nancy McCollough of Knoxville; brothers, Donnie (Eva) Hixon, David (Doris) Hixon and Steve (Betty) Hixon all of Rutledge; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Smokey Mountain Hospice and nurse Amy Hall and Chaplain Mike Sledge. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Reverend Horace Greene and Reverend Kenny Boling officiating. Family and friends will gather at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:30 p.m. graveside interment service.
