Thomas Franklin Shipley

b>Thomas Franklin Shipley, age 87 of Dandridge, TN passed away on Friday evening, June 27, 2003 at the Jefferson City Health and Rehab following an extended illness. Tom was a retired farmer and farm machinery mechanic of the Jefferson County area for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Asilee Shipley; son, Boyd "Bo" Shipley; daughter, Carrie Lou Chandler; granddaughter, Angela Chandler. He is survived by his sons, Pete Shipley, Sam and Kay Shipley, Steve and Jessilene Shipley, all of Dandridge; sisters, Mildred Buckle of Greenville, JoAnn Russell of Dandridge; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2003 at the Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
