Thomas Michael "Mike" Merriman

THOMAS MICHAEL "MIKE' MERRIMAN, age 57, of Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday morning, May 10, 2009. He was born January 18, 1952, the son of the late Tom and Ethel Merriman, and was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Tipton. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survived by wife, Tracy Commander Merriman; children, Joe (Jenny) Merriman, Jesse Merriman, Tommy Merriman and Sam Merriman; step-children, Chris (Elica) Commander, Jason Thayer, Scott Williams and Julie Williams; three step-grandchildren; half-brother, Eddie Tipton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. John Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Field of Dreams, P. O.
