THOMAS DAVID HOWELL, age 60, of Jefferson City, TN formerly of Chattanooga, TN passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was a member of Local IBEW #175. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired master electrician. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp, where he was on the rifle team. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Georgia Howell. Survived by loving wife of 40 years, Dellia Jo Howell; sister, Kathy Howell Barrett of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister-in-law, Corky Acuff of Jefferson City; brother-in-law, Clifton Acuff of Jefferson City, TN; nephew, George French of Chattanooga, TN; niece, Mitzi Callison of Jefferson City, TN; several other nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011, 6:30 p.m. at the home. Family will greet friends following the memorial service.
