Thomas Nathaniel Crisel

Thomas Nathaniel Crisel, age 76, of Baneberry, TN and formerly of Salinas, CA, passed away at Jefferson City Health and Rehab after a long and lingering illness on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. He was born to James and Elsie Crisel on August 27, 1937 in Holly Grove, Arkansas. He was a retired maintenance worker from the Salinas Elementary School District. He is also an Army Veteran, serving during the early sixties in a missile battalion. He was also life member with a fellowship degree in the Loyal Order of Moose, where he held most all offices, served on most all the committees on the local, district and state level. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carol Crisel; two sons, Mike and John Crisel; one daughter; Laura Crisel; step son, Toby Krekelberg; three step daughters, Barbara Souza, Michelle Dryer and Kristen Long; twelve grandchildren; one sister, Bobbie and Bill Robertson; also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 1:00pm in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The family has requested the in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Attn: Donor Services, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Chicago, IL 60601, or at www.alz.org.
