THOMAS G. BARKER, age 74 of Dandridge, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, September11, 2003. He was of the Baptist faith. Born December 31, 1928 in Mascot, Tn, he was a professional over the road driver of more than 35 accident free years. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas C. and Esta Barker; wife, Mary Barker; daughter, Karen Barker; sisters, Louise Lyle, Imogene Roberts and Dorothy Armitage. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Gayle Barker of Powell, TN and Dennis and Dawn Barker of White Pine; grandsons, Greg Barker of Powell and Dennis Barker, Jr. of White Pine; sister, Wilma Barker of Morristown and brother, David Barker of Morristown. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2003 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Rev. Ronald Winstead officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003 in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville.
