Thelma H. Widener

THELMA H. WIDENER, age 77 of White Pine, TN passed away Saturday afternoon, March 20, 2004 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. She was born april 18, 1926 in Williamsburg, KY, the daughter of the late Will and Lula Hickey Hamlin. Preceded in death by husband, Charles L. Widener. Thelma had been active in local community activities over the past years and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Survived by daughters, Charlene Compher and husband Vic of Philadelphia, PA and Judy Cavanah and husband Bob of White Pine, TN; grandchidren, Heather Compher, Kevin compher, Nicole Cavanah and Ryan Cavanah and wife, Jennifer; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Monday, March 22 at 8 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of White Pine with Rev. Eddie Noe officiating. Interment graveside services 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 23 at White Pine Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to services at the church.
