She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by husband, Mack Lane; daughter, Mary Jane Velez; special nephew, Bobby Joe Kimbrough. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and James Helton of Greensboro, NC, Kay and David Parton, Sue and Everette Tipton, Linda and Ray Hicks, Becky and David Harvel, all of White Pine, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Mickey Crocker, Johnny and Linda Lane, Jerry and Lorene Lane, Jim and Kay Lane, all of White Pine, Tommy and Martha Lane of Morristown, TN; grandson whom she raised, Tommy Lee and Dena Lane of White Pine; sister and brother-in-law, Dorthy Jean and Kenneth Ross of Shelby, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Janie Kimbrough of Kokomo, Indiana; seventeen special grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Bonnie Kimbrough. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Charlie Harkleroad and Reverend Charles Robison officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2007 at White Pine Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
