CALDWELL, age 95, of New Market, TN passed away at 1:55 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab following an extended illness. She was an active member of Fountain City Presbyterian Church, where was an active teacher or substitute teacher in every class except for the elderly men's class. She was an active member and former county president of the Home Demonstration Club in Jefferson County, and also former president of Old Knoxville Presbytery Women's Organization. Survived by loving husband of 70 years, Ralph Caldwell; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Patti Caldwell of Bristol, TN, Gene and Eugenia Caldwell of Atlanta, GA; granddaughters, Susan and Karen Caldwell of Bristol, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Fountain City Presbyterian Church with Rev. Max Reddick, Dr. Sean White and Dr. Bill Wadsworth officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2007 at New Market Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service. The family requests that memorials be made to Fountain City Presbyterian Church, 500 Hotel Road, Knoxville, TN 37918.
