Terry Glenn Burchell

Terry Glenn Burchell, 53, of Rutledge, TN gained his wings on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. He was loved by many. He was a faithful employee of Lifeguard EMS in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd “Tinker” Burchell. He survived by his wife of 5 years, Stella (Brown); his daughter, Kayla (Nathan) Gabbard; his mother, Georgia Hackney; two brothers, Junior (Lori) Burchell and Herbie (Gerrie) Burchell; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, TJ “Jelly” Rutherford and Bradley O’Quinn. He was a 32-year member of Bean Station Volunteer Rescue Squad, 15-year member of Rutledge Volunteer Fire Department, and 5-year member and former chief of Bean Station Volunteer Fire Department. You would never see him that he didn’t have a smile on his face and was doing all he could to help anyone he could. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15 from 4pm-8pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, TN. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 16 at 1pm at the funeral home with Dylan Wynn residing.
