Teresa Lynn Foster Dever

Teresa Lynn Foster Dever, age 63 of Rutledge, TN, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 10:57 a.m. at Turkey Creek Medical Center following a brief illness. She was a member of Flat Gap Baptist Church. She was a member of The Rainbow Girls. She was a seamstress with Footwear Industries of Tennessee. Teresa was a beach bum at heart and she dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Mary Alice Foster, grandparents, Jim and Charlotte McCarter and Roy and Beulah Foster.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Billy Dever, daughters, Melissa (Keith) Moore of Jefferson City, and Amanda (Kelsey) Gilliam of Dandridge, grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer), Hayley, Ethan, Marley, Blake, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Macey, Hunter, Urbyn, Saylor, and Ella, great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Landon, sisters, Fonda Garvin of New Market, and Susan (Kenny) Shaver of Talbott, several nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home with a Memorial Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jack McCarter officiating. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made toward the funeral bill.
