Susan Ann Russell

SUSAN ANN RUSSELL, age 59, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 4:40 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a longtime pharmacist, having served Jefferson and Hamblen counties. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Clayborne (Russ) and Frances (Penny) Russell; aunts, Addie and Katherine Long. Survived by brother, Jeff Russell of Maryville, TN; nieces, Jennifer Hagewood of King George, VA and Leslie Russell of Knoxville, TN; nephew, Clay Russell of Maryville, TN; several great nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends; and best friend, Carolyn Nelson of Jefferson City. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. R. J. Seal officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, P. O.
