Susan Beresford

SUSAN BERESFORD aged 73, of Dandridge, Tennessee, passed away on May 16, 2016 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Sue was born in England in 1942, married in 1961, and in 1964 moved to the U.S. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sue was very independent, cared deeply for animals, was a wonderful cook, an accomplished golfer, and a successful real estate agent. She also enjoyed playing games with her family, loved to knit, and was always reading a book. Her enthusiasm for travel led her across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as to Hawaii and the South Pacific. Sue also traveled throughout North America and the Caribbean visiting family, friends and sightseeing. She derived great pleasure from entertaining family and friends, and always made you feel welcome in her home. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Harvey Paul and Lilian Oliver Paul, and brother, Rodney Paul. She is survived by her husband, David Robert Beresford; son, Paul Beresford (Dawn); daughters, Helen Beresford (Angie), and Jane Collacchi (Bob); grandchildren, Joshua Collacchi (fiancé Ashley Rush), Brett Collacchi, Zachary Beresford and Logan Beresford. She is also survived by family in England: brother, Michael Paul (Dilys); sister, Christine Longden (Roy); and twin sister, Lesley Hall (Robert); sister-in-law Judy Paul; brother-in-law Philip Beresford; and many nephews and nieces.
