Steve L. Dalton

STEVE L. DALTON, age 66, of Jefferson City, TN passed away suddenly on March 7, 2013 after a brief illness. Steve was of the Baptist faith. He loved going to yard sales, spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Steve worked at Berkline for 43 years as an upholsterer. Steve was selfless and went out of his way to help others and expected nothing in return. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many. Steve is preceded in death by his father and mother, Eugene and Ruby Dalton; and his sister, Laverne Dalton. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie Dalton; his two children, Dewayne Dalton and wife Shaunna, and Sherry Hannah and husband, Sherman; his two grandchildren, Travis Musser and wife Alyssa, and Colton Dalton; his great-grandchild, Mason Musser; brothers, Thomas W. Dalton and wife Suzanne, Raymond Dalton and wife Christine, Norman Dalton and wife Shannon; sister Brenda Gann and husband Claude; several nieces and nephews; and his long time friend, Ricky Short. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Ralph Morgan officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 Monday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
