Stephen A. Kovach

STEPHEN A. KOVACH, age 84, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on July 24, 2011 at UT Medical Center. He was former president of Gulf and Western Industries and Portec Industries, a World War II veteran, avid arrowhead hunter and gardener. Preceded by parents, Stephen and Susan Kovach; and daughter, Sharon M. Ellington. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jennie L. Kovach; daughter, Teri Heideman and husband, Mark of Concord, NC; grandchildren; Emili L. Heidemann, Evan B. Heidemann, Debbie L. Barnard, Heather M. Hall, and Stephanie Amanda Ellington; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Fritzi) Kovach; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
