Staryl L. Makeley

STARYL L. MAKELEY, age 88, of Dandridge, TN passed away at 5:15 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of the Dandridge VFW Post #3380, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He was of the Methodist faith. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Rodger Scofield of Dandridge; granddaughter, Misty Lee Haglund; great-grandchildren, Kollin, Britney and Stefanie Haglund, all of Dandridge; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2008 in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with Reverend Jay Ferguson officiating.
