Stanley V. "Sonny" Lemons

STANLEY V.” SONNY” LEMONS, SR. age 87 of Dandridge, TN passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge and the American Legion of Jefferson City. Stanley was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired with over 30 years in the Air National Guard and was a retired butcher after 30 plus years from Kroger Food Stores. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Lemons; parents, Charles “Bush” and Mildred Jones Lemons and is survived by his children, Stanley Jr. (Monica) Lemons, Charles Lemons, Cathy Lemons Yates, Bobby (Alisa) Lemons and Michele (Freddie) Hanek; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Alps Adult Day Services, 600 Daisy St. Morristown, TN, 37814. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021, 11:00am at French Broad Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Jacob Lemons officiating. The body will lie in state on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, 865-397-2711
