It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Staci Baker, who departed this world on April 8, 2024. Born on October 2, 1972, she lived an adventurous life filled with joy, love and a sweet, sassy personality but touched the hearts of everyone she met. Staci is survived by her loving mother, Linda Bowers; cherished by her daughter, Haley Woolard and son, Tyler Woolard. She was an adored grandmother to Hudson Francis and Blakely Francis, who will undoubtedly miss her warmth and kindness. Staci also leaves behind her sister, Kristi Carroll; and her niece and nephews, Teagan Watson, Henley Watson, Easton Watson, and Baylor Watson who will remember her fondly; her loving partner, James Carroll and stepson, Dylan Carroll; and her son-in-law, Braden Francis. Staci is now reunited with those who predeceased her including her sister, Megan Bowers; her dear grandparents, Mary and Fred Collins; and loving family member, Wayne Woolard. With hearts as expansive as hers, Staci’s greatest lesson was love. She exemplified this in every aspect of her life, teaching those around her the importance of kindness and compassion, and cherishing every moment spent with loved ones. A funeral service to celebrate Staci’s life and the indelible mark she left on those who knew her will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Mt. Vale Church of God with Rev. David Rathbun officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her and were blessed enough to be touched by her loving spirit.
