Sierra Nevada Miller

SIERRA NEVADA MILLER, age 99, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Life Care Center of Jefferson City. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City and a 50 year member of Holston Chapter #384 Order of Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred Miller. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lena Faye and Albert Seals of Talbott, TN; grandchildren, Tim (Becky) Seals, Jim (Jill) Seals, and Jennifer (Patrick) Moore; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. W. Taylor and Rev. Dwayne Whittington officiating, with Eastern Star Memorial Service prior to the service at 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
