Shirley B. Walker

SHIRLEY B. WALKER, age 76, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on Saturday evening, January 7, 2012 at Physicians Regional Medical Center after suffering an acute heart attack on December 28th. She was born on June 24, 1935 to the late Charlie and Myrtle Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Belitz; and brother, Bobby Walker. Shirley was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and spent her life as a caregiver to family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Walker; nephew, Charles Belitz; great-nephews, Bobby Ford, Matthew Belitz and Jason Belitz; great-great-nephews, Gabriel Belitz and William Belitz; and a very dear friend, Mike Massengill. Graveside service and interment will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Don Davis officiating. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Physicians Regional Medical Center ICU in Knoxville.
