Shirley Madine Johnson Rutherford

SHIRLEY MADINE JOHNSON RUTHERFORD, age 65, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was loved by everyone she met. "Momma" as everyone called her, loved and took care of everyone. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mae Johnson; brother, David Johnson; and great nephew, Zayn Ramsey. She is survived by her husband, Greg Rutherford; daughter, Jessica Rutherford; sisters and brothers, Pauline McCurry (Roy), James Johnson (Linda), Lois Johnson, Ricky Johnson, and Eddie Johnson; nieces and nephew, Susie, Crystal Josh), Mitchell; great nieces and nephew, Zoie, Christian, Kendall and Azlynn. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service with Rev. Kenny Boling officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
