Shirley Massengill

SHIRLEY A. MASSENGILL, age 84, of Talbott, TN passed away peacefully at her home on June 2, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mom and mamaw. She was a member of the Ladies American Legion Auxiliary for 35 years and attended Mt. Vale Church of God. Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Fannie Noe; daughter, Patricia Pollard; son, Kenny Pollard; and granddaughter, Genia Scalf. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Robbie Massengill; daughter, Jamie Collier (Mark); granddaughters, Alyson Collier, Priscilla Pollard; grandson, Jesse Scalf; great-grandson, Zayden Walker; great-granddaughters, Anzley, Paislee and Carly Scalf; brother, Charlie Noe of Lexington, NC; several nieces, nephews and many friends and family who loved her dearly. A “special thanks” to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for their loving care. Friends may call at Farrar Funeral Home between 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mt. Horeb Cemetery with Rev. Tony Collins and Rev. T. H. Ferrell officiating.
