Sherry Leigh Carmody Eanes

SHERRY LEIGH CARMODY EANES, age 57, of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday morning, September 3, 2011. She was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi where she had served as president and was the organizer of the 1st Lady of Morristown Award. Sherry worked faithfully with the New Day Cancer Support Group sponsored by the Mt. Vale Church of God and graciously volunteered her services to numerous other organizations. Preceded in death by her father, Horace R. Carmody, she is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dewey J. Eanes and daughter Mary Jane Eanes both of Dandridge, TN. Other survivors include her mother, Mae S. Carmody of Lenoir, NC; sisters, Suzanne Hedgecock of Kernersville, NC and Debra Burchette of Lenoir, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011, 7:00pm at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with Revs. Chad and Robbie Chambers officiating.
