SHERRILL CLAWSON, age 65, of White Pine, TN passed away at his home on Sunday, July 15, 2007. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maude Janie Campbell Clawson; father, John Riley "Blackie" Clawson; sisters, Evelyn Clawson Stanton of Johnson City and Yvonne Clawson Morgan of Tampa, FL. Born in Carter county and a retired ironworker. Survived by wife, Linda Waldrop Clawson; sons, Dennis Waldrop and Wife, Connie, of Mt. Pleasant, and Robert Clawson and wife, JoAnn of Dandridge; daughters, Loretta Clawson Jones of Dandridge, Janie Clawson Henry and husband, David of Sevierville, Carmella Clawson McSpadden and husband, Chuck of Dandridge; eight grandchildren, Brittany and Brandi Clawson, Cory and Colby Jones, Maddison Henry, Ashley, Chelsea and Mason McSpadden; sisters, Wilma Guy and Ellamae Dugger of Butler; half-sisters, Wanda Ambrose and Linda Kay Chapman; half-brothers, Steve and Rick Clawson, all of middle Tennessee; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. Bud Cagle and Rev. Troy Cutshaw officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Dandridge Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
