She was born on May 29, 1946 to the late James and Marie Senter, the youngest of five children. Sharon was preceded in death by two sisters, Lula Mae Senter and Barbara Cain. Sharon grew up and attended high school in Morristown, TN and later met and married Joseph (Joey) Mills of Jefferson City. Later, they moved to Dayton, OH, where they started their family. Sharon leaves behind a loving and faithful husband, Joseph Michael Mills and four children; daughters, Anna Fitchard (Larry) of Huntsville, AL, Michelle Collins (Roosevelt) of Huntsville, AL; Kara Nicole Mills of Atlanta, GA; son, John Anthony Mills (Connie) of Dayton, OH; one sister, Martha Washington of California and one brother, James Senter of Morristown, TN; sister-in-law, Linda Mills Moore (Paul); brothers-in-law, Carl Mills, Tony Mills (Jill) and David Mills (Sheredia); eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren,and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Cecil Mills, Jr., Reverend Joseph Terry Senter, Reverend E. O. Cole and Reverend Janice Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
