Shannon Keith Medlin

SHANNON KEITH MEDLEN, age 40, of Dandridge, TN, was called home by the Lord on July 17, 2015. He passed away at Jefferson Memorial Hospital as the result of a massive heart attack. Shannon was born in Holbart, Indiana on April 16, 1975. He was the son of Judith Lynn and William Oscar Medlen. Shannon will forever be remembered as a dedicated father, a loving husband, caring brother and uncle , and a loyal friend. He was full of life, loving, caring, and enjoyed to make people laugh and smile. He was a dear friend to many. Shannon shared his childhood memories with his sister Tamara, who was very special to him. William Oscar Medlen, who passed away several years ago, remained in his thoughts and permanently in his heart. He prized making memories with his children , nieces, and nephews. Shannon is father of five; daughter, Micaela Furrow, whom he always loved adored and never forgot! sons, Jordan Foland, Noah, William, and Xavier Medlen. His wife and children were his pride and joy and he engraved his footprints on their hearts forever. Shannon was very much loved and will be missed by many. Shannon is proceeded in death by his parents, William Oscar and Judith Lynn Medlen. Shannon is survived by his wife, April Medlen; sons Jordan Foland, Noah, William and Xavier Medlen; sister, Tamara Medlen and her son, Jacob Medlen-King; stepmother, Karen Medlen; step brothers; Chad Cerda and his children, Keira and Lucas Tod Cerda and his step-sister; Elizabeth Roloff and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Piedmont Baptist Church in Dandridge TN . Please send donations in lieu of flowers to Farrar Funeral Home, P.O.
