Seymour M. "Mackie" Counts

SEYMOUR M. (MACKIE) COUNTS, age 71, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday afternoon, March 1, 2013 at his home. He was the son of the late Orville E. and Mable Fleming Counts. Preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Harry T. and Judy Counts. He was a retired coal miner and employee of Bristol Compressors. He was a member of the Washington Co., VA Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1966. He is survived by wife of 50 years, Charlotte Counts; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Ed Thompson; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Chandra (Looney) Counts; grandson, Zak Baughman; granddaughters, Chynna Counts and Jorden Counts; brothers, Jimmy C. Counts and his wife Lillian of Haysi, VA, Cecil A. Counts of Manassas, VA, and William R. Counts and wife Renee` of Rural Retreat, VA and Sandy L. Counts and his wife Patricia of Luray, VA; sister, Trevor J. Counts of Clinchco, VA special aunt, Garline Gortney of Clinchco, VA; special friends, Harold and Kerry Tisdale, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life memorial service will be held Sunday, March 3, 2012, 2:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garland Long officiating. Family will greet friends following the service.
