She was born September 1, 1923, and entered heaven?s portals on July 20, 2005. Baptized into Deep Springs Baptist Church on September 19, 1938, she remained a member there until her death. The daughter of the late Martin and Willie Ann French, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Myrl, Dick, Pryor, Grover, Harvey, and Dean, two sisters, Bonnie and Eunice, and granddaughter Pamila Suzzette Bryan. Survivors are her husband of sixty years Robert Sidney Mowery of the home, daughter and Son-in-law Evelyn Ann and Ray Bryan of Dandridge, grandson and wife Samuel and Stephanie Bryan and great-granddaughter Marianne Fiona Bryan of New Market, grandson Alan Jacob (A.J.) Spoone of Dandridge, brother Mayford French of Dandridge, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Deep Springs Baptist Church on Thursday, July 21, 2005. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. Reverend Ben Knight and Pastor Mike Sledge will be officiating. Internment will be at 11 a.m. at Deep Springs Cemetery on July 22, 2005. Pallbearers will be nephews, John, Mike, Frank, Jeffrey, Bill and Gene French. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Deep Springs Cemetery Fund, 408 McGuire Road, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
