Sara Ann Spivey Piper

SARA SPIVEY PIPER, age 89, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on November 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson City where she enjoyed many activities, including the church bazaar and yard sales. She also loved her bridge club, her breakfast club and traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, R. H. and Faye Wall; 1^st husband, Robert “Bobby” Spivey; 2^nd husband, Charles “Charlie” Piper; sister, Frances “Pookie” Bishop; brother, Richard Harold Wall. She is survived by her children,  Debbie Spivey-Hyde (William), Jim Spivey (Traci), Fran Spivey-Joyner (John), Johnny Spivey (Jamie), Greg Piper, Eddie Piper (Becky), and Lynn Piper-Carver (Steve); eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother, Warren Wall (Pam), sister-in-law, Jean Wall; and several special nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give a very special thanks to her caregiver, Tei Gagstatter, along with numerous other caregivers for their loving care of Sara. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home. A private inurnment service will be held at a later date.
