Sandy Ann Askins

SANDY ANN ASKINS, age 88 of Dandridge, TN passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eula Collier Askins Moran; father, Raymond Askins and step-father, Guy Moran; grandparents, Floyd and Victoria Collier; loving friend “Curly” Milner and Tommy W. Young. Sandy is survived by Billie VanderVoort Young of Rogersville, Kelly and Bob Williams of Chattanooga, Bo and Erica Young of Atlanta, GA, Julie and Eric John of Marietta, GA, Blakely Wilde, Lucas John, Brady John, and many good friends and neighbors. She was a graduate of Tusculum (College) University. She was a former school teacher in Greeneville, TN, and retired Employer Relations Representative with the State of Tennessee with over 40 plus years of service. Sandy was an avid reader, enjoyed dancing, cooking, fishing, and visiting with friends and neighbors. She loved her family and community. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge Chapel from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. A graveside funeral service will take place on Thursday, June, 23, 2022 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Greeneville, TN at 11:00am with Reverend Rodney Norris officiating.
