SANDRA BRINKLEY, age 69, of New Market, TN went to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 7, 2021. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, and retired CNA with several home health agencies. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. She never met a stranger, was always ready to help anyone in any way, and opened her home to all. She was known as “Mamaw, the Candy Lady” at Lebanon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Walter and Jessie Atkins; son, Randy George; and grandson, William George. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James “Jim” Brinkley, daughter, Denise Brinkley Hurt (Michael); grandchildren, Kegan Rinard, Colton Rinard, Sydney Greene, Ella Greene, Raven George, and Brooklyn George; sisters, Judy Mynatt (Lee), and Carolyn Nelson (Gary); brother, Stanley Atkins; sister-in-law, Judy Coomer (John); several nieces and nephews; and many special friends and church family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lebanon Baptist Church Building Fund, 7925 Greenbriar Rd, Talbott, TN 37877. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Brewer and Rev. R.J. Seal officiating.
