S. Henry

GENE S. HENRY, age 77 of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday morning, October 31, 2005 following an extended illness. He was the son of the late George and Lillie Thomas Henry and was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Henry. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a graduate with highest honors of Carson Newman College and was a member of Seahorn's Chapel United Methodist Church. Gene was the former owner of the Morristown Lincoln Mercury dealership and had been associated in automobile sales for over 45 years, where he had earned numerous awards in sales and performance from the Ford Motor Company. Survived by wife of 54 years, Mary Elizabeth Jaynes Henry of Dandridge; sons, Michael T. Henry and wife, Marilyn, of Maryville, Gene Henry II of Dandridge; daughter, Sandy Huskey and Tim Hurst of Gatlinburg; grandchildren, Dan and Pam Huskey, Matthew and Tyler Henry; great granddaughter, Charlie Ann Huskey; special friend, Angela Rena Henry. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Dandridge Chapel. Interment graveside services will be Thursday, 10 a.m. at Seahorns Chapel Cemetery.
