Ruth G. Moore

RUTH G. MOORE, age 68, of Talbott, TN passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was saved at a young age at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and was a faithful member of Browns Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Gearl or Lou, as she was known, was married to her sweetheart and best friend Roy G. Moore for 43 years, and was the mother of her most precious gift besides her salvation, Kelly G. Moore. She was the most loving, kind, unselfish person ever known and this was honored with more than 500 friends coming through her home when finding out she was ill. She lived a simple life, loved being outdoors and fishing with her sister. She will be sadly missed by so many. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arlie W. and Pauline J. Osborne; brother, Roger Osborne; husband, Roy G. Moore; and son, Kelly G. Moore. She is survived by sisters, Phyllis (Clarence) Hayes, Donna (Lonnie) Knight; brother, Mike (Shirley) Osborne; sister-in-law, Darlene Osborne; daughter-in-law, Kathy Moore; Tracy and Debbie Rogers whom she loved as her children; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday night, September 29, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside interment service with Rev.
