Ruth Greene McDaniel

Ruth Greene McDaniel, age 92 of Knoxville, TN passed away Sunday, March 02, 2014. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden, TN and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Holston Chapter 384 in Jefferson City, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence H. McDaniel, parents, Arthur R. Greene, Sr., and Ocie Burns Greene, sister, Ocie Greene Malone, and brothers, Arthur R. Greene, Jr., Ed Greene, and Jack Greene. She is survived daughters and son in laws, Gail and Carl Kitts and Janet and Ed Mills, granddaughters and son in laws, Kim (Scott) May and Melanie (Brent) Walker, great grandsons, Zachary May, Gavin Adams, and Jacob Adams, sister, Evelyn Foster, sister in laws, Naomi Greene and Ersa Jarnigan, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Central Baptist Church of Bearden, TN, 6300 Deane Hill Dr., Knoxville, TN 37919.
