Ruth Gann

RUTH GANN, age 90, of Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday morning, June 21, 2009. She was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Humphrey and Ida Russell; husband, Oscar Gann; daughter, Lela Gann; brothers, Jake, Theodore, Ode, Lee and Jim Russell; sisters, Martha Loveday, Cora Ketner and Dora Russell. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Curt and Debbie Gann of Ooltewah, TN; daughter, Patsy Gann of Dandridge; grandchildren, Kristen Hill, Bryan Gann and Ashley Gann; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Michael David Bonnema; sisters, Ruby Manning and Mary Shipley; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Bill Ramsey, whose care and compassion is deeply appreciated and to the nurses and aides at Jefferson Memorial Hospital and to Paula Poe, Mom's caregiver. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at Green Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Len Mcelyea officiating. Interment graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hills Union Cemetery.
