Ruth McDougal Cox Lamberton

RUTH MCDOUGAL COX LAMBERTON, age 85, of Jefferson City, TN passed Friday, February 25, 2011 at Jefferson County Nursing Home after an extended illness. She will celebrate her new life with her husband, Alger Cox; her precious daughter, Linda Ruth; mischievous grandson, Isaac; and sweet sister Joyce. Also preceded in death by husband, Philip Lamberton,; parents, Isaac and Edith McDougal. Ruth is survived by her children, Amy Cox MacDougall, Angel Cox both of Maryville, and Anthony Cox of Knoxville; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Bob) McCarter; brother, Sam (Barbara) McDougal all of Jefferson City, TN; brother-in-law, Charles Price of Oak Ridge, TN; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside funeral service with Gail Twine officiating. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City.
