Ruth Batson

RUTH BATSON, age 104 of the Chestnut Hill community, Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Luke and Ann Batson and was preceded in death by her siblings, Nell, Millie, Alma, Bertie, Lawrence, Cisco, Jim, Roosie (her twin), Atchley and Von. She is survived by her caregivers, Condon Batson and family and Donna Etherton; Sister-in-law, Alma Batson; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and a special thank-you to the staff of the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home and Smoky Mountian Home Health and Hospice for all their excellent care given to Aunt Ruth. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Cheetham and Rev. Sherry Franklin officiating. Interment graveside services will be Wednesday, 11:00am at Fox Cemetery (Sevier Co.). The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
