Russell R. Morgan

REVEREND RUSSELL R. MORGAN, age 76, of Dandridge, TN died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born August 25, 1930 in Lakewood, OH. Ordained to the Presbyterian ministry in 1955, Russell Morgan continued to serve faithfully after his retirement in 1992. Russ was involved in many interests and activities, including choral societies, Habitat for Humanity, and environmental, interfaith, and peace organizations. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth Blackburn Morgan, and six children; Linda and Mike Clement, Carol and Kerry Antoniewicz, Tom and Nicky Morgan, William Morgan, Mark and Amy Morgan, and Kristin and Mike Aicher; eight grandchildren; two brothers and a sister; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity, P. O. Box 346, Jefferson City, TN 37760 or Hopewell Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 215, Dandridge, TN 37725. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, with a reception following the service.
