CROSSING, age 72, of Jefferson City, TN passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. He was a member of Martha Davis Church, employed 35 years as Plexiglas supervisor for Rohm and Haas in Knoxville, TN, and a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U. S. Army. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He is survived by his wife, Alma W. Crossing; children, Robin (Rick) C. Brown, Dr. Norman (Yvette) Crossing, Russell (Wendy) J. Crossing, Randall F. Crossing, Esq., Jeremy B. Crossing; granddaughter, Adrianna Crossing; grandsons, Loren Brown, Leland Brown, Langston Brown, Ryan Crossing, Evan Crossing, Blake Crossing, Nickolas Crossing; sisters, Eartha (Bert) Fowler, Martha (Gilbert) Robinson, Aileen (Fredrick) Reese, and Queen Crossing; aunts, Elizabeth Mills, Geneva Tate; uncle, Charles Wells; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Cecil Clayton Mills, Reverend Horace R. Mills, Reverend Nathaniel Wilson and Reverend Jackie Osborne-Bragg officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the funeral home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
