RUBY LILLIAN COLLINS HILL, age 95, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:24 a.m. She was a member of Mill Springs Baptist Church and a retired nurse’s aide from Milligan Clinic and Jefferson Memorial Hospital with 25 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, William Fred Collins, Sr. and Martha Marion Collins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith and Ponder Eslinger, Margaret and Charlie Midkiff, Mae and Earl Thomas; brother, Fred Collins, Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, Gentry (Pete) and Fannie Collins; sister-in-law, Ruby Hill. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Walter Hawk of Jefferson City; sisters-in-law, Bonnie L. Collins and Mary Frances Hill of Jefferson City; special family friends, Roger Byrd, who was like a son, Sue Johnson, who was like a daughter, several nieces and nephews; special caregivers, Ernestine Vance, Jean Hoskins, Jane Mullins. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. Family and friends may call at their convenience Monday, September 22, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home.
