Ruby Nelson Finley

RUBY FINLEY NELSON, age 96, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on December 12, 2016 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. Preceded in death by husband, Leonard Nelson; parents, Archie and Maude Finley; sister, Bonnie Finley Franklin; brothers, Floyd and Fred Finley; nieces, Robin Franklin and Brenda Cole; nephew, Johnny Finley. She is survived by nieces, Sandy Franklin, Lisa Murphy (Mark), and Leann Cross (Brad); nephew, Ron Finley (Becky); several great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff of Jefferson County Nursing Home for the loving care they gave. Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Westview Cemetery with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating.
