Ruby Lee Dixon Mathis

RUBY LEE DIXON MATHIS, age 85, of Jefferson City, TN passed away December 6, 2008 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab after a lingering illness. She was a long time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elery and Doshia Dixon; sisters, Jewell Newman and Florence Dixon, Anna Mae Dixon and husband, Fred Mathis. She is survived by daughter, Brenda Kilgore of Jefferson city; grandson, Scott Rector of Jefferson City; granddaughter and husband, Lisa and Bryan Patterson of Jefferson City; great-granddaughter, Sierra Patterson Williams and husband, Cole; great-grandsons, Zachariah Joseph Patterson and Noah Elery Patterson; great-great-grandson, Aiden Thomas Williams. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, December 8, 2008 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at the funeral home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
