Herschel Brady

Herschel Brady went to be with the Lord suddenly on the morning on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 77. Born in 1944, Herschel lived a full life of selfless generosity and care for others. He had a passion for fishing and loved to share that passion. Even greater than his passion for the outdoors was his love for the Lord, his church family where he served as a deacon, and his dear wife of 49 years, Nancy. Herschel was a father figure who took pride in loving and mentoring children, especially his “kids-in-love” and “grandloves” from his community. Herschel’s love and legacy has impacted the lives of many and will carry on in our hearts.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Willa Grace Brady, and his siblings, brothers, Willis, Dorton and Terry, sister, Cecelia Carter. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy, his brother Gary (Deanie) Brady, and his sister-in-law Jean Brady, brother-in-law James Roy (Janette) Peeples. His celebration of life service will be held at First Baptist Church of White Pine on Friday, June 17, 2022. Receiving of friends is from 1-3PM with the service to start at 3PM. The graveside ceremony will follow immediately after at St Paul Cemetery. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations be made in Herschel’s name to, Young Life or the Baptist Children’s Home
